why i am a self-designated...

media beast...

although i did not grow up consumed by televised broadcast media, i am still heavily influenced by media in general. if you can think of a form of media, i am likely interested in it.

i love watching flicks, films, movies, whatever you prefer to refer to them as. there are always 2 genres that appeal to me most: comedy & action. i dig thrillers & dramas too, but the 1st 2 will always get priority.

on that note, i am very excited about the next installment in this series:

being a big fan of DCheadle is helpful...

  1. me too, looking forward to that sequel. i was a big comic book fan back in the day, so I like to see these stories on the big screen. That said, i am still really disappointed with the character development in these films. I want to connect deeper with the character, and I just wish they would take the time to develop that....Wolverine, whom I followed the most, was a whopping disappointment....best comic turned movie....the original Superman...and Batman Begins, in my opinion

  2. i agree, but i haven't seen Wolverine yet. sometimes it seems Hollywood is challenged when it comes to creating action oriented films that can be interesting w/o the eye candy. the best comics have the most interesting characters. i would suggest this applies to all good stories...
